The short answer
LLM search is the new SERP. This skill checks whether your page answers the target query in a way an LLM would actually quote: clear claims in the opening paragraph, structured data, cited sources, no filler. Returns a score plus a ranked list of what to fix.
When to use it
Every new page targeting an informational query. Quarterly on evergreen pages as LLM search patterns evolve and old winners start losing citations.
Setup
- 1
Save the file as ~/.claude/skills/aeo-citability.md.
- 2
Feed: the target query plus the page (file path or URL).
- 3
Skill returns a 0-100 score plus specific suggestions — e.g. add Article schema, cite three sources, sharpen the first 50 words.
- 4
Scoring is heuristic; calibrate against actual citation data from your own LLM-search monitoring.
